Key Facts:
Troop 1300 is a backpacking troop that is Scout led.  The adult leadership establishes broad guidelines, enforces them, and provides backup to the scouts if they can't solve a problem.  We produce 1-3 Eagle Scouts per year.

Meetings are Tuesday at 7:00 PM at St Thomas Episcopal Church, College Station, Texas.   Camping is every month except during the summer.  See our Calendar.

  • Hill Country SNA Trip Sorry, got a bit behind, here is Jan 2015's trip.  More picture are promised from the Scouts (and we know that a Scout always keeps their promises).

  • Court of Honor October 2014 This Court of Honor was especially poignant because of our new scouts earning their first rank advancement, but also the recognition given to Dr Jim Herman for his many years of service to our Troop.  Dr Herman was awarded an engraved Buck Knife commemorating his service and a cake.  Waiting to hear which he liked better.

  • Marine Biology Field Trip The awesome folks at SeaGrant and Ms Rhonda in particular took some time last Tuesday and shared the slimy, spiny, and shiny critters with our Troop.  The boys LOVED IT!
